TIGERS FINISH WITH A FLOURISH TO EDGE HAWKS
Senior C League - Round 15 - Game 2
Tigers 4 - Blackhawks 1
Three unanswered goals in the final period gave the Adelaide Tigers a 4 - 1 victory over the Adelaide Blackhawks in Senior C League play recently at the Ice Arena.
Both clubs came out battling resulting in a scoreless opening period, with the Tigers holding a slight edge in shots, but it was a three goal third period flourish that proved to be the story of the match.

High scoring Milad Dakka opened the scoring for the Tigers in the first minute of play when he converted a nice pass from Ben Lowes to make the score 1 - 0. Then Michael Colvin tied the game for the Tribe when he hit the back of the net on a pass from Cameron Bridgeman.
Dakka fired his second of the night only seconds into the third period, and that put the Tigers in front for good, as Bradley Christie, and division scoring leader Will Dobud added single goals to seal the game for the Gold n’ Black.
The victory improved the Tigers record to 7 - 4 for 21 points and second place on the five team ladder. The loss dropped the Hawks to 3 - 8 and in fourth place.
The Tigers outshot the Hawks 32 - 21 with Chris Moreton (pictured) stopping 20 shots to record the win for the Tigers, while Nick Siebert blocked 28 shots in direction for the Blackhawks.
