TIGERS SCORE LATE AND STORM HOME WITH WIN OVER HAWKS

Three late goals in the final period lifted the Adelaide Tigers to an exciting 4 - 3 come from behind win over the Adelaide Blackhawks in Round 15 Premier League action recently at Thebarton.
James Keane, Gil Krnac (pictured), and Ryan Foll all scored goals with less than five minutes remaining on the clock to stun the Blackhawks, and improve the Tigers push toward a finals berth.
Brad Chenoweth fired the Tigers other goal in the opening period on a setup from Andrew Stapleton and Jamie Holland.
Both clubs are in a battle for the third finals spot on the ladder, and the Hawks jumped off to a 2 - 1 lead after the opening period, and then added another to lead by two goals heading into the final frame.
The victory improved the Tigers Premier League record to 6 - 8 for a total of 18 points, which is 6 points in front of the Hawks (4 -11), who have played one more game than the Tigers.
Former national team player Josh Harding opened the scoring for the Tribe, with David Fowler, and Tyson Boyd also finding the back of the net. Rookie international Ivan Lauton continues to impress setting up two of the Hawks goals.
Referee Damian Smith handed out a five minute slashing major, and then a game misconduct to Hawks' stalwart Harding, just past the mid-way mark in the final period.
The Tribe out-shot the Tigers 38 - 34 with Rusty Brewer stopping 35 shots to earn the win for the Black n’ Gold, while Peter King blocked 30 shots in the Hawks goal.
