Devan Seaman’s goal at 13:54 of the final period lifted the Adelaide Tigers to an exciting 3 - 2 win over the Falcons in Senior A League action earlier this week at the Ice Arena.

The victory was a big one for the Tigers improving their record to 4 - 1 - 0 - 1 to maintain their hold on first place on the five team ladder. The Falcons drop to 3 - 3 - 1 - 0 but still hold down second place, with the Tigers having played one less game than the Falcons.

Mark Sunczyk opened the scoring for the Tigers late in the first period to take the Black and Gold into the middle frame with a 1 - 0 lead.

In the second period, Chris Parks converted a pass from Andy Young to put the Tigers up by two before Darren Stockburger and Reece Boundy scored two late goals for Big Blue to even the ledger at the end of two periods.

The Tigers outshot the Falcons 29-23 with both goalies Paul Cracknell for the Falcons, and Sam O’Neill in the Tiger's goal making some big saves to keep the contest close.

The Senior A League is back in action again this Sunday 28 May when the Tigers play the Blackhawks in a 6:45pm start, with the Redwings taking on the Jokers in an 8:15pm game.
