No matter what age, gender or playing ability Ice Hockey SA and the Ice ArenA will be able to assist you in kick starting your hockey career here in Adelaide.

Between IHSA and the IceArena, there’s a bunch of training programs suited for you. All activities operate out of the Ice Arena in Thebarton.

Ice Blast
The ice blast program is a great first step into playing hockey. Players 9 and under are provided full ice hockey gear for each session.
The experienced coaches teach the basics from skating, stopping and hockey skills over 6 lessons. Ice Blast takes away the financial risk and gives the opportunity to try ice hockey before you stock up on the essential gear.
Contact the Ice Blast Coordinator and monitor our website and socials for up-to-date information on term dates and registration information.

Hockey Academy
The Ice Arena runs the hockey academy during school terms and is broken up into 4 different levels to cater for all levels of skill from beginner to advanced. If you’re enrolled in the beginner program, the Ice Arena can supply a helmet and hockey stick for lessons.
Hockey Academy Coaches are experienced current and past state players
