Laurent Friederich, and Jeremy Klein ( pictured ) both scored two goals each to lead the Tigers to the win, with the quintessential Stu “The Setup Guy” Henly, recording three assists. BIANCHI SCORES SHOOTOUT WINNER OVER BLACKHAWKS

Senior C League - Round 16 - Game 1 Redwings 1 - Blackhawks 0 (Shoot Out) It took an extra time shootout goal from David Bianchi (pictured in red) to carry the Adelaide Redwings to a 1 - 0 victory over the rival Adelaide Blackhawks in Senior C League play recently at Thebarton. Both sides went scoreless but the real story of the match came from the losing side as Blackhawks goalie Nick Siebert made save after save to keep the door closed on the Wings, who controlled a better part of the game out shooting the Tribe 44 - 11. Unfortunately for Siebert, he lost his shutout bid in the shoot out decider, while Johnny Cousins who enjoyed an easier night at his end of the rink recorded his second sh

PEDDER'S GOAL ENOUGH TO BLANK THE JOKERS

Senior C League - Round 16 - Game 2 Tigers 1 - Jokers 0 Erin Pedder’s (pictured) power play goal with less than a minute left in the second period was enough to power the Adelaide Tigers to a hard fought 1 - 0 victory over the Adelaide Jokers in Senior C League action recently at Thebarton. Pedder fired the game winner while the Jokers’ Ben Davis was in the sin bin serving a minor for roughing. The popular Tigers forward took a pass on a setup from Matt Morobito and Cameron Jones and then beat Jokers net minder Mathew Peterson for the only goal of the match, her first goal of the 2017 season. Senior B League - Round 14 - Game 2 Redwings 5 - Blackhawks 2 The Adelaide Redwings continue to roll along in the Senior B League following a 5 - 2 victory in over the Adelaide Blackhawks in Round 14 at Thebarton recently. The Big Red Machine improved their season record to 12 - 1 - 1 - 0 for 38 points and a strangle hold on first place in the four club division. Veteran star Peter Boyle (pictured) opened the scoring early in the first for the Wings scoring an unassisted marker, followed by Anthony Kunda, and Jared Lowe. Senior C League - Round 15 - Game 2 Tigers 4 - Blackhawks 1 Three unanswered goals in the final period gave the Adelaide Tigers a 4 - 1 victory over the Adelaide Blackhawks in Senior C League play recently at the Ice Arena. Both clubs came out battling resulting in a scoreless opening period, with the Tigers holding a slight edge in shots, but it was a three goal third period flourish that proved to be the story of the match. High scoring Milad Dakka opened the scoring for the Tigers in the first minute of play when he converted a nice pass from Ben Lowes to make the score 1 - 0. Then Michael Colvin tied the game for the Tribe when he hit the back of the net on a pass from Cameron Bridgeman.

Senior C League - Round 5 - Game 2 Redwings 8 - Falcons 1 The Adelaide Redwings jumped off to a four goal lead after the opening 20 minutes and then won a convincing 8-1 victory over the Adelaide Falcons in a Round 5 replay game held recently at Thebarton. In a match that was initially cancelled back in early May due to poor ice conditions, the Wings had control of the game from the opening face off. Playing coach Sami Mantere led his team to victory with two goals and an assist, with Nathaniel Benson, Russell Kendall, and Andrew Chen adding singles in the win.
